Dr. Mark Willett grew up on the east coast, outside of Philadelphia, so he knows about cheesesteaks and hoagies. He went to vet school at UC Davis, graduating in 1997, and has been practicing in northern California ever since. He did research for his Master's degree in Papua.

New Guinea, and was project veterinarian for the Channel Islands National Park, helping to save the Channel Islands fox, an endangered species.
